Tiaisha (Ti) Dandy is the sole owner and CEO of Ti Dandy Consulting, LLC  (2020), where she works to assess and address organizations’ systemic issues. Born and raised in North Philadelphia (PA), Ti was acutely aware of the social and economic conditions that threatened the vitality of her neighborhood. Wanting to make a difference in her community, Ti sought higher education as a means to do so.  She received her B.A. in Psychology and Communications from Albright College (Pennsylvania) and two Master Degrees; a Masters in Social Service (MSS) and a Masters in Law and Social Policy (MLSP) from Bryn Mawr College: Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research.   Ti used her degrees to return to her community and begin enacting change. She worked with at-risk youth, creating programs that highlighted the benefits of higher education and the arts. Her assistance remains hands-on as she continues to organize back-to-school drives, holiday toy and book giveaways, and more. While, working as a Program Analyst for the City of Philadelphia Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual Disability Services, she was in the position to help improve the lives of people with intellectual disabilities.  Ti combined her interests and co-authored a self-published book: “Cree Wins the Day!” Drawing from principles learned from her sociology and psychology backgrounds, the book is a useful tool in starting important discussions to help all children positively embrace their differences.     Presently, Ti resides in Dallas, TX, and continues her educational and creative endeavors. She works as an adjunct professor at Harcum College in the Human Service Department since 2018. She is a Licensed Social Worker (PA), Certified Investigator (Office of Developmental Programs) and Certified in Quality Management (ODP).
